Associate General Counsel

As Associate General Counsel, Ms. Cox provides advice to the following units and colleges:

  • School of Medicine
  • College of Public Health
  • AU/UGA Medical Partnership
  • School of Nursing
  • College of Pharmacy
  • Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, including the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, J. W. Fanning Institute, Small Business Development Center, State Botanical Gardens of Georgia, Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel, Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, and the Archway Partnership
  • School of Social Work
  • Performing Arts Center

Additionally, Ms. Cox has responsibility for the following areas:

  • Programs and Activities Serving Minors
  • Fraud Policy Issues
  • Co-Grievance Coordinator
  • Contract Administration and review of Athletics and Cooperative Organization agreements

Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs in 2010, Ms. Cox practiced transactional law in Athens-Clarke County and surrounding counties, specializing in real estate and probate matters. In her practice, Natalie also frequently served as guardian ad litem for minors and incapacitated adults.

Ms. Cox earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Spanish and her juris doctor from the University of Georgia.
