Jendonnae Lovins
Associate General Counsel
As Associate General Counsel, Ms. Lovins provides advice to the following units and colleges:
- Human Resources Division
- Office of Faculty Affairs
Additionally, Ms. Lovins has responsibility for the following areas:
- Promotion and Tenure
- Arrest Reporting
- Contract review, including Faculty Contracts and Borrowed / Professional Services Agreements
Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs, Ms. Lovins served as the Senior Associate General Counsel at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. She previously served as the Senior Associate General Counsel with the West Virginia Attorney General’s office for Higher Education. In that role she provided representation and legal advice to the various state institutions of higher education in West Virginia.
Ms. Lovins earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Marshall University and her juris doctor from West Virginia University. She is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Ohio, and West Virginia.
