Legal Specialist & Contract Coordinator

Ms. Ziegenfuss serves as the principal point of contact and liaison for the University’s contract review process. Ms. Ziegenfuss provides support to the Subpoena and Discovery process, and manages appeals including, Educational Affairs Committee (EAC), Student Conduct, Academic Honesty, and related BOR appeals. Ms. Ziegenfuss also provides support to attorneys Marshall Chalmers, Jendonnae Lovins, and Anne Reynolds.

Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs, Ms. Ziegenfuss was a court reporter in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She also served hearing impaired students at James Madison University by providing real-time closed captioning in their classes. Before that, she was a human resources coordinator and then a training coordinator at a broker-dealer firm in Atlanta.

Ms. Ziegenfuss earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Old Dominion University, a diploma in court reporting from the Reporting Academy of Virginia, and a master’s degree in library and information science from Valdosta State University.
