Lindsay B. Smith
Legal Administrator
As Legal Administrator, Ms. Smith oversees the comprehensive daily operations of the Office of Legal Affairs (OLA), serving as the unit’s Chief Business Officer and primary Human Resources Liaison. In this capacity, she provides strategic leadership for administrative functions, coordinates all special initiatives, and manages annual reporting obligations on behalf of OLA.
Ms. Smith has direct responsibility for OLA facilities and operational infrastructure, including equipment, technology, and vendor services, and serves as the unit’s designated Safety and Security Representative. She provides essential support for litigation matters and tort claims and acts as the principal point of contact for the Residency Appeals Committee. Additionally, Ms. Smith provides support to attorneys Mike Raeber and Devin Hartness Smith.
Ms. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in public administration, both from the University of Georgia.
