Natalie G. Cox
Associate General Counsel
As Associate General Counsel, Ms. Cox provides advice to the following units and colleges:
- Washington Semester Program and the Performing Arts Center (divisions of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost)
- Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, including the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, J. W. Fanning Institute, Small Business Development Center, State Botanical Gardens of Georgia, Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel, Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, and the Archway Partnership
- College of Public Health
- College of Pharmacy
- College of Family and Consumer Sciences
- School of Social Work
- AU/UGA Medical Partnership
Additionally, Ms. Cox has responsibility for the following areas:
- Programs and Activities Serving Minors
- Co-Grievance Coordinator
- Contract Administration and review of Athletics contracts
- Fraud Policy Issues
- Student-Athlete Appeals
Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs in 2010, Ms. Cox practiced transactional law in Athens-Clarke County and surrounding counties, specializing in real estate and probate matters. In her practice, Natalie also frequently served as guardian ad litem for minors and incapacitated adults.
Ms. Cox earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Spanish and her juris doctor from the University of Georgia.
